As a wedding officiant with a website, you will have the occasion to copy and paste HTML into your website to display your various badges, awards and affiliations as well as social media buttons and widgets.
If you are wanting to create a new website, I recommend trying Weebly (affiliate, see disclosure) for free hosting and free website drag and drop builder. So in this example, let's say you are adding a Pinterest button to a page on your website, above your Wedding Wire badge. You will add the HTML code to the appropriate area in your website.

You may have the situation where the elements appear too close to each other and it has a bunched up, crowded appearance....
If you want to add some space in-between the two elements for a cleaner appearance, you can add the HTML break tag before or after the HTML code that you have copied into your site...

By adding the break tags at the end, this will add a space below. Alternatively I could add it at the beginning of the HTML string in order to add a line space above. |
And now there is a nice space and it doesn’t look overcrowded on the website page...
I am all about empowering you so that you can handle your wedding officiant business internet presence yourself and avoid the high costs of paying someone else to do it. There are many free options for website creating and hosting and you may want to take advantage of that and create your own website. There is no need to know complicated code but it does help to know a few HTML tags to help tweak your site.
