If you are a wedding officiant with a website you should be using Pinterest to promote your business and your website. Using Pinterest can definitely bring traffic to your site. This can result in prospective clients visiting your site as well as visitors that may click your ads if you use affiliate programs or Google Adsense to create passive income.

In this post I give information on how to add the Pin It button to your website. I also provide some free wedding officiant graphics for you to use on your website. Read more to get the free graphics and learn about using the Pinterest Pin it button.
You want to Pin things using the website URL from your various website pages. When you enter the URL via the Pinterest add a pin interface, Pinterest fetches any graphics on the page and you can select one to Pin. Therefore you need to have graphics on your pages so that you will have something to pin. A good example of graphics for wedding officiants would be any images, photos or drawings that illustrate the different facets of weddings. You can use photos from weddings or graphics and drawings of wedding related images such as hearts, flowers and wedding rings. It is also a good idea to have some text on the graphic so the image is descriptive both with imagery and text. It is also important to write an enticing and informative description in the comment area of the Pin, those keywords are what is used when people search Pinterest. For example you could have a red heart that says "Wedding Officiant" (I am giving away a graphic like that for free download so feel free to use it on your site).

To use graphics and your webpages for pins do the following...

  • Place the graphic on one of your website pages.
  • Use that page URL to add a pin on one of your Pinterest boards.
  • Type in the comment area something about you and your business, for example, the location.. "Jane Smith Miami Beach Area Wedding Officiant".

Another way to use Pinterest is to provide the Pin It button on your website so that visitors to your site can pin your pages as well. To get info and the code for the Pinterest Pin It Button, click here.
Here is a quote from the Pinterest page that tells how successful the Pin It button is at driving traffic to websites...
Businesses who use the Pin It button often see big lifts in referral traffic. Just 3 months after Allrecipes.com added the Pin It button, people added more than 50,000 recipes from their website. This led to 139 million Pinterest impressions.

How To Add The Pin It Button To Your Site

> Go to the Pinterest Page that provides the code for the Pin It button. Make your selections for your preferences of the appearance of the Pin It Button.
Picture
> Copy the code.
Picture
> Paste the code on the page and location where you would like the Pin It Button to appear. In the Weebly website editor you would be using the "Embed Code" element. Or if you use a different website editor you would paste the code using the appropriate tool for adding HTML code.
Picture
Now the Pin It Button appears on the page and visitors to your site can easily pin a graphic from your website page on Pinterest. Then when the Pin is clicked on from Pinterest the person will be brought to your website page, therefore increasing visitors/traffic to your site and this will bring potential clients to your business and/or result in clicks on your ads if you use affiliate ads for income as well.

OR if you would like to paste the code into a certain page type on your site so that all the pages of that type will have the Pin It button you can add the code into the page type. For example I wanted the Pin It button to appear on all my blog post pages on my website. The page type I use for the blog page is called a "Landing Page". So instead of manually adding the code to each blog page I simply added it to the page type so it will always appear on any page that uses the "Landing Page" type.

>
The first step is to determine what page type you want to add the code to. Using the Weebly editor this is found in the Pages tab and then click on the specific page, in the example below it is the "Dearly Beloved Blog" page and then notice to the right it is shown to be a "Landing Page".

Picture
> To go to the edit mode of that page type you would go to the design tab in the Weebly editor and click on the button that says "Edit HTML/ CSS".
Picture
> Select the page type to be modified...
Picture
> Paste the code into the appropriate location of the page and "Save".
Picture
> Now the Pin It Button appears on all pages of that type...

Your best option in finding a virtual mailing address location is to check with virtual mailbox companies first. These companies receive your mail, scan it in and put it online so you can view it. It really doesn't matter where you are, or where they are, it's all done semi-automatically and seamless to your customers.
