It’s a new year; start your new career as a wedding officiant and launch your own wedding officiant business!

Here are some reasons why you may enjoy creating your own wedding officiant business:

  • Low start-up cost.

  • Fulfilling work as you provide a valuable service uniting couples in marriage.

  • No major overhead and not necessary to hire employees.

  • It’s not a boring repetitive job as the tasks are diverse; from working on ceremony documents, maintaining your internet presence or filing marriage certificates one day to being outside performing a wedding on the beach or in a garden the next day!

The easiest way to create a website for your wedding. Create your site at Weebly.com!
  • Feel good about being a contributor to local commerce as you promote business in your town or area and network with other local vendors in your community.

  • Provides an opportunity for you to use and develop various creative and organizational skills as well as inter-personal skills.

  • Earn income and have your own business.

  • Create the business model of your choice catering to your niche and/or environment, whether it’s simple, small weddings or elopements to large-scale customized events and unique ceremonies.
Starting a wedding officiant business is not a get rich quick scheme for easy money. It’s not a way to make a large fee for just reciting a 15 minute ceremony. Much effort goes into the maintaining of the business and preparation for the ceremony. Becoming ordained might be quick and easy on the internet but that doesn't mean it should be approached without respect and reverence.  It is my belief that in order to be truly successful, the wedding officiant must have an authentic desire to humbly and thoughtfully serve an important role in a sacred and important event in which two individuals are united in matrimony.
To start on the path of being a wedding officiant you should learn about ordination and the laws in your state. You can read the Ordination and Marriage Laws blog post.

Here are some additional tools to get you on your way to having your own wedding officiant business:

Lockers are generally available in different styles, sizes and tier arrangements conforming to the standard requirements. Public places and recreational facilities often need large numbers of them. In this article, we will discuss on choosing the right type of water park lockers at an affordable price.

Booking a limo is just one of the many things that you need to get in order when planning your wedding. It is important to get the transportation for the bride and groom, and anyone else that will be travelling during the wedding day, figured out and planned so you can put it behind you and focus on the other details of the wedding.

Of course you want to arrive in style on your wedding day, but everyone has a different idea of style. Some have a dream of a romantic horse and carriage ride to the church, while others could think of nothing better than arriving at the church on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
